Welcome to the official page for my upcoming short film "Stone Elegy".

Iron Age Ireland: Macha, is taken during her beloved’s funeral by a disgraced warrior. He intends to sacrifice her to the bog, believing it will restore his status with his former clan.

As she’s dragged across forests, caves and sacred ancient sites toward the fateful bog, Macha realises she must do more than survive — she must reclaim a sacred grave object, stolen by the Raider from her beloved's body. A carved stone figure meant to guide his soul safely to the Otherworld. She must reclaim it… or risk his spirit being lost forever.

Told with minimal dialogue and relying on image, sound, and performance, Stone Elegy is a story about how we hold meaning through ritual, memory, the objects we share and the places we pass through — and how fragile those connections can be when they’re broken.
